We're not just building a software product at Blaze—we're building a mission-critical platform that evens the playing field for entrepreneurs worldwide so they can compete on the internet, win against the big guys, and control their own destinies.

Blaze customers can plan months worth of ideas, create high-quality 'drafts for every piece of content, and automatically schedule them to post in 60 seconds flat.

Blaze has served tens of thousands of small business owners. Now, we're growing our team on our way to a million customers plus.

That's where you come in: we're hiring a Senior Product Manager to drive core product development across the company. This person will be responsible for creating best-in-class opinionated experiences, unlocking insights, and ensuring smooth development with speed and quality.

About the role

As the Product Manager for our Core Experience, you will be the champion of our customers experience across our desktop and mobile interfaces. You'll look after all customer facing surfaces, including APIs customers use to schedule and post their content.

This role is heavily user focused: you'll interact both cross-functionally with other teams at Stripe as well as externally with our customers. You'll collaboratively partner with our engineering, marketing, and design teams to set an ambitious roadmap, jointly shape product plans that lead with delightful experiences, and ship them with high quality. You'll also discover net new parts of our business and lead them from nascent stages to maturity

This is a highly complex and challenging role that will require you to deeply understand user needs and collaborate across internal and partner teams to build and launch a seamless product experience at scale.

Specifically, you will:

  • Work with our leadership team to define and manage product development across the company

  • Manage our product development process, including bug triage and feature definition

  • Collaborate with our technical leadership to manage design and technical work and release quality

  • Work with our customer and marketing teams to identify core product opportunity areas based on customer feedback and data insights

About you

We're looking for a product leader who can elevate our high growth startup to the next level. Please apply if you have:

  • 4-7 years of product experience in a high growth SaaS organization

  • Strong focus on user experiences, from front-end UI through developer docs and technical integrations

  • Domain knowledge in productivity, AI, creative, or marketing tools

Skills that make you extraordinary:

  • An detail-oriented obsession over product quality, specifically an intuition for high-performing, ergonomic and long-lasting design

  • Deep customer empathy, with a natural ability to put yourself in the shoes of our users and intuit what would be a great experience for them

  • Brilliant, structured written and verbal communication skills with a talent for precise articulations of customer problems and specific solutions to them

  • Strong intellectual curiosity and the hard skills to get the data you need from a nascent system to answer your questions

  • A high-output, iterative approach to solving customer problems from first principles

  • A passion for being a generalist, and a desire for ownership and responsibility

Interviewing at Blaze

It’s our goal to provide an efficient, transparent interview experience that respects you and your time. Our roles typically have a four stage process (sometimes more) and we like to move through those as quickly as calendars allow. After submitting your application you will hear from us whether you are a strong fit for the role or not! From here you can expect:

  1. An initial screen with our COO, the hiring manager

  2. A technical exercise appropriate to the role

  3. A leadership interview with our CEO

  4. Peer panel with our marketing, product, and engineering leads

Your time is valuable, so we try to give you as much information as possible throughout our process to make the best decision for you.
